What we provide
Educational information about aging at home: what Medicare covers and doesn’t, the paperwork, types of care, and hiring help in the home. We also provide free tools, including a care needs checklist.
We provide this information as-is. We work hard to make it accurate and we cite our sources, but we make no warranty that it is complete, current, or suited to your particular situation.
What we are not
We are not a health care provider, a law firm, a home care agency, or an insurance broker. We do not deliver care, and we do not employ caregivers.
Where we connect you with a private-pay home care provider, that provider is an independent business. They are not us, we do not employ them, and we do not control the care they deliver. Vetting them is something we take seriously — but the contract is between you and them, and so is the responsibility for the care.

You are welcome to print anything for your own use, or for a family you are helping. That’s what it’s for. Print the checklist. Take it to a doctor’s appointment.
You may not republish our content on another website, sell it, or present it as your own.
Official state forms are a separate matter. Those are published by the states, not by us, and our copyright doesn’t extend to them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OnPoint Associates LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, or from any decision you make based on it.
We’ll say plainly what that means: the decisions you make about a person’s care are yours. We’re trying to help you make them better-informed. We can’t make them for you, and we can’t be responsible for how they turn out.
If a court finds us liable despite this, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us — which, for the free content on this site, is nothing.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
